Information used for repairs

We collect account details, contact information, your service address, device and repair selections, booking updates, and payment references to manage your account and repair booking. Passwords are stored as hashes. Please do not include device passwords or sensitive files in booking notes.

Payments and service providers

Razorpay processes payments in its checkout. RepairMyDevice stores order and payment references and payment status; it does not collect card numbers or CVV. Assigned repair partners receive the booking information needed to carry out your repair. Hosting, database and messaging providers process information needed to operate the service.

Sessions and retention

We use a session cookie for sign-in and browser storage for device and repair selections. Booking and payment records are retained as needed to deliver service, resolve disputes and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements.
